What was the significance of King Philip IV of France?
King Philip IV, also known as Philip the Fair, was a brat. When y0u read his more famous title, you think, “Oh, he was a very nice king! How quaint!” NOPE! He was called that only because he was incredibly handsome. This guy was a little brat. First of all, in my opinion, being crowned King of France went to his head. Why? Because he developed a very high taste of everything. He also decided against surrounding himself with people who had guided the great kings before him, going instead for some high paying lawyers. Not only that, but he also went into a (what I like to call) Mr-Krabs-State-Of-Mind. In other words, he was extensively greedy and would steal any money he could get his hands on.
