Hope Is Always Optional

“Was there any basis for an optimistic view of Rome in Livy and Ovid?”

Whether we’re in Ancient Rome or in the modern day world, horrors will reach us no matter what we do to try and stop them. However, hope is a vital ingredient in a recipe for happiness. Through hope, we can find a way to survive and be optimistic. That is the basis for any optimistic view in any time or era.
