Flawed Beliefs

What kinds of contributions did the monks make to European society?

The monks were very kind but their beliefs were flawed. They believed in a forgiving God but they also believed that there were some sins that were too big to be forgiven. However, in God’s eyes, hating is the same as murder. That doesn’t mean you’re screwed to live a sinful life though, it just means that God can forgive even the nastiest sins. There is truley no sin too great. But wether the monks chose not to believe that or just didn’t know, one of their great contributions was their want for peace.
