Welcome to the Question Files Part 7! Today, we will be focusing on yet another question. Before we get started, I would like to tell you an interesting fact. Did you know that otters sleep holding hands? You might have known that and you might have not. It’s an interesting fact….don’t spoil it. Now let’s get into this stuff!
“Is it true that acting quickly and instinctively is the best response to a crisis? Or are there times when an urgent situation requires a more careful consideration and a slower response?”
Well, let’s put that into context. 😀 Is it true that acting quickly is the best way to get out of a bad situation? Or are there times when you need to think through what you’re doing? Well, if your house was on fire you would want to get out quickly. But if you were being asked to marry someone, then you would want to take time. Hmm. This one’s tough. I think there are times that you need to think through what you’re doing. Mainly because if you were in a life changing situation, you would want to think about what the outcome would be. Now, notice that I did say ‘there are times’. By that I mean you should definitely do it, but not always. If I was on fire, I wouldn’t want to stop and think, “Hmm. What did Mr. Bradly say about fires. Tuck, duck and what was that last part?”. There are times when you think quick and there are times when you think slow. Like when you are running from the Vashta Nerada. No time to think, just run! 😀
